Peer Evaluation of Teaching
The peer review of teaching is a vital aspect of the faculty evaluation process. Such reviews provide formative feedback to support individual instructional practices, as well as summative insights to inform promotion and tenure deliberations. At the department level, peer review processes may benefit from exploration of a variety of models and rubrics, both internal to Virginia Tech and at other universities.
