Faculty Writing Support

Faculty write. Articles, books, and grant proposals, yes. But also talks and lectures. Slides and posters. Assignments. Peer reviews of professional scholarship and feedback on student work. Email. It all counts as writing. And when we acknowledge just how much writing we do, we begin to recognize just how central and diverse a role writing plays in all of our work.

Faculty write many different things across our roles and responsibilities as teachers, mentors, leaders, and scholars. As a process, writing entails a wide range of activities, putting words on the page and editing them as well as reading, thinking, conversing, explaining, experimenting…We help you to see how much goes in to all that writing that you do, and to engage in this process in rewarding and sustainable ways.
