Welcome to Your New Leadership Role
Stepping into the role of Department Head is both an exciting opportunity and a significant responsibility. This orientation program is designed to support you as you transition into leadership, build confidence in your new responsibilities, and connect you with the people and resources that will help you succeed.

A follow‑up session that revisits early experiences, shares practical strategies for emerging challenges, and deepens leadership skills needed for the spring semester and beyond.
Ongoing Learning and Connection
Throughout the year, new department heads are invited to join supplemental workshops, networking sessions, and community‑building events. These opportunities provide space to discuss challenges, share solutions, and explore timely topics that support leadership growth.
